Mabel Anna (Stennick) Oram

With sadness and a sense of peace for a long life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom, Mabel Anna (Stennick) Oram on August 12, 2018 at the White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction, NB. She was born in Geary, NB on September 12, 1935 to the late Odbur and Bessie (Boone) Stennick and was the loving wife to her late husband Robert Oram of Clarendon, NB.

Mabel loved to be around family and friends. She was a homemaker and devoted every moment to ensuring her family was happy, healthy and looked after and she was a member of the Wirral Hospital Aid Society and the Wirral Quilting Club. She is fondly remembered by her children; Ronald (Carol) of Hoyt, NB; David (Sylvia) of Geary, NB; Glendon (Lauri) of Clarendon, NB; Linda (Robert) of Clarendon, NB; Roxanne (Robert) of Geary, NB; and Lawrence of Clarendon, NB; 17 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mabel is survived by her sisters Myrtle (Lester) Brown and Jean Gaudet both of Geary, NB; sister-in-laws Shirley Stennick of Oromocto, NB and Mary Bones of Fredericton, NB and brother-in-law Ronald (Olive) Oram of South Branch, NB. Along with her parents and husband; she is predeceased by her siblings George, Frank, Arthur, Bruce, Albert, Allen, Buddy, Carl, Florence, Mildred, Dorothy, and Marie.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sunbury Funeral Home of Central Blissville, NB with visitation to be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held from the Wirral United Baptist Church on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 11am with internment to follow at the South Branch Cemetery.
