MARILYN EVELYN SPARKS
Surrounded by family, Marilyn Evelyn (Wooden) Sparks passed peacefully on May 10, 2019 at White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction.
Born on October 10, 1944, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Irven and Hazel (Duplisea) Wooden of Enniskillen, NB.
Waiting to greet her at Heaven’s Gate are her parents, her infant daughter Shelley Lynn, daughter in law Heather Wilson and her best friend, Jill Kolaritsch.
Leaving to mourn and carry on her memory are her beloved children John (Dawn), Sean (Carrie) and Trudi (Terry); grandchildren Sara, Kyle, Gregory, John, Donald, Andrew and Brittany; great grandchildren Sophia, Michael, Markus, Wesley, Kayde, Reddick, Shy-Ann, Joseph, Bentley, Brooklyn, Brian and Jaxson. Also survived by sister Irene and brothers Brian and Arthur, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend Cheryl Jaffrey-LeBlanc.
Marilyn was very active in her community and church groups such as the Missionary Society and Hospital Aide. As well, she served on the board of White Rapids Manor, was an assistant at the Hoyt Christian School and was a cook at the Greenhill Lake Camp.
One of the highlights of Marilyn’s adventures was a trip to Israel to visit The Holy Land.
Visitations will be at the Hoyt Baptist Church on May 13, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm A celebration of her life will be at the Hoyt Baptist Church on May 14 at 1 pm with Rev Blake Perrin officiating. Interment will be in the Hoyt Baptist Cemetery following the service.
