It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Burnett Mowry (Haines) announce her passing on August 2nd 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Marjorie was born July 3, 1931 in Dorne Ridge NB to Samford and Mary (Foster) Haines.

Marjorie will be dearly missed by her sons; Dale (Lorena), Gordon (Lorna), Norman (Betty), Blaine (Dawn-Marie) and Preston (Michele). Her 14 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was Predeceased by her husband Harry Mowry, her daughter Sandra, Sisters Annie and Pearl, Lucy, Rachel and Willette and her brothers, Alonzo, Arthur, Vincent, Lester, Wilbur.

Marjorie was a hard-working mother and always had time for family. She hosted children’s bible study in her home and was the Sunday school superintendent for many years. She was a faithful prayer warrior for her family and church family and was a faithful member of The Chapel of the Living Water. 

Visitations for Marjorie will be held on Monday August 4th from 6-8pm and August 5th from 10 – 10:45am at the Chapel of Living Water. Funeral Service will be held August 5th at 11am at the Chapel of Living Water with committal to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marjorie’s name to The Chapel of the Living Water or Donors choice.
