Mary Elizabeth (Finn) Flowers

Flowers, Mary Elizabeth (Finn) of Sandbrook Road in Wirral, NB passed away at the White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction on May 31, 2015.      

Mary was born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on August 15, 1921 to the late Elizabeth Dobbin and Andrew Finn.

Mary met her husband, the late Charles T. Flowers, and together they made a home for their family. In her spare time she was involved in the community, including Ladies Aid, UCW, treasurer of Ladies Auxiliary and a member Patterson United Church.

Mary is survived by three sons: Murray of Fredericton Junction, Donald (Betty) of Wassis, Robert (Retta) of Geary, Daughter-in-law, Betty Flowers of Wirral(Charles 1991)(Kenny).  11 Grandchildren: Roxanne(Wade), Nancy(Donnie), Sandra(Bob), Tanya(Chris), Jo-El(Steve), Jody(Paul), Michelle, Lee(Erica), Becky(Jamie), Melissa, (Tim), Katie, 20 great grand-children, 9 great-great grand-children, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by a son, Charles, sisters; Nancy and Sarah, two brothers; Henry and Andy, great grand-son, Matthew, great great grand-son Braydon.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects to family on June 2, 2015, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  Funeral service will be from Patterson United Church in Wirral on June 3, 2015 at 11am with Rev. Ron Curtis officiating assisted by Graham Crandall. Pallbearers will be all of Mary’s grandchildren.  Interment will follow in the Patterson United Church Cemetery.
