Little, Merlin Coburn, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Merlin Coburn Little at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on July 26, 2014.Merlin was born in Harvey on December 1, 1926.
Merlin worked as a plumber for over 60 years working side by side with his wife Dorothy. Merlin’s family would say that plumbing was his hobby but he also loved to shop for cars in his spare time.
Merlin is pre-deceased by his parents, Lottie (Coburn) and Pembroke Little. Along with his parents Merlin is also pre-deceased by one sister Helen Coburn and three brothers; Delmont, Cleighton, Lyman.
Merlin is survived by his wife Dorothy Little, three daughters; Linda (Frank) Brake, Heather (Marc) Lariviere, Beverley Little, one son Lester (Madeline O’Keefe) Little, four grandchildren; Luke Brake, Jacinda Heath, Alexandre Lariviere, Bethany Lariviere, three great grandchildren; Janaya, Anameca and Keenan Heath, one sister in-law Ethel Little, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and pastoral care at the DECH in 3East and Palliative Care for their outstanding kindness and compassion and for going above and beyond our expectations.
Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral will be at the Tracy United Baptist Church with Pastor James Harrison officiating on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 2:00pm.In memory of Merlin, donations may be made to the Village of Hope in Tracy or a charity of the donors choice.
