Michael Albert Landry

Landry, Michael Albert. The family of Mike Landry of Hanwell, NB wish to sadly announce his loss to mental illness on September 12, 2021.  Mike was born in Worchester, Mass on April 23, 1961, to Arline and Alphie Landry. Mike was the loving husband of Sherry Courser.

Along with his wife Sherry and parents Arline and Alphie, Mike is survived by two stepchildren Andrew Sutton and Erin (Matt) Green, he was grandpa to a beautiful granddaughter Taylor, two sisters: Denise (Gerry) Fictorie, Joanne (Bob) Randall, a brother Peter (Alayne) Landry, parents-in-law Gloria and David Courser, as well as many, aunts, uncles, nieces’ great-nieces and nephews.

Michael worked for the Forestry Department up till his retirement. He was a very talented woodworker, he has built many cabinets, shelves, etc. as well as refinished many pieces. Michael married for the second time 3 years ago to his childhood sweetheart Sherry.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB on Thursday September 16, 2021, from 4-7pm. Funeral service will be at Sunbury Funeral Home on Friday September 17, 2021, at 2 pm with Father Bill Brennan officiating. Interment will follow in St. Columba Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
