Mildred Louise (Williams) Barton

 Barton. Mildred Louise, of Central NB Nursing Home, Boiestown and originally from Tracy, NB. passed away peacefully at the Nursing Home with her family by her side on June 18, 2014.

Mildred was born in Harvey, NB on April 4, 1924 to the late Reta (Burns) and Thomas Williams.

She enjoyed working at the Goodie Shop in Fredericton and while in Tracy she attended the Nu-Life Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her son Irvin Christie(Bonnie) Doaktown, grandchildren: Karen Sturgeon(Jason), Tracy, Tracey Christie-Jenkins(Adam), Doaktown, Richard Christie (Amanda), Saint John and several great-grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her four sisters: Margaret Moore, Edna Dever, Barbara MacLaughlin(Donald), Bessie Messer(Vaughn), one brother David Williams.

Besides her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband Edmond Christie and Robert Burton, one great-grandchild Emma Mary, sisters; Annie Williams, Marie McGee, Mary Williams, Hazel Gamblin, Charlotte Weston and one brother, Albert Williams.

In keeping with Mildred’s wishes, there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to a graveside memorial in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery, Tracy, NB. Friday June 20 at 11 am with Rev. Steven Aubin.
