Joan effortlessly and unassumingly played many roles throughout her lifetime. She was especially a loving wife and mother. Family, both immediate and extended, was the most important to her which went hand in hand in her role as pastor’s wife, with her love and dedication to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her gift was she showed love and kindness to everyone she met; we often heard this phrase to describe her; “Your mother is such a sweet lady“. She was very creative and wrote countless poems and songs which are treasured. She loved to paint craft and knit. She was also musically inclined and could play the piano, guitar, accordion and she could yodel too!
She had a great sense of humor and was always quick with a smart, funny response.
She is very much loved and will be missed by many. Her family are mourning her loss but are rejoicing she has reached her final goal - heaven.
