It is with great sadness that the family of Noel Aime Castonguay announce his
passing on January 26, 2023 surrounded by lots of love at the White Rapids Manor
in Fredericton Junction.
Born March 16, 1935 to Marc and Helene (Cyr) Castonguay. Noel was
predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years Helen (Henderson) Castonguay.
Noel will be deeply missed by his children; Brenda (Kenny) Phillips, Claude
Castonguay, Della Baker, Evelyn (Matt) Phillips, Francine (Troy) Butler, Daughter
in law Sherri Castonguay.
And, his sisters and brothers; Jeanne Albert, Eveline Goudreau, Edna (Peter)
Marquis, Hermel (Jeannine) Castonguay, Roland (Annette) Castonguay. Also his
11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Noel was also predeceased by his daughter Alma Castonguay, his son Francis
Castonguay, grandchildren Laura, Amie and son in law Wayne . Also his sisters:
Alma Castonguay, Regina St.Amande, Corinne Goudreau, Imelda Levesque, his
brothers; Jean and Joseph Castonguay.
Noel was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He always had a smile on his
face and a story to tell. Noel operated various heavy equipment most of his career.
Noel also enjoyed the woods, playing cards, hunting and 4 wheeling.
The family would like to thank the Nurses and staff of the White Rapids Manor.
Their care and compassion were above and beyond and was greatly appreciated.
As per Dad’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will take place in
the spring.
Donations, if you wish, can be made in Noel’s honor to White Rapids Manor.
