It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Arlene Mersereau on May 8, 2014 at the Royal Alex Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
Born in Fredericton Jct. on February 6, 1963, she lived the first 18 years of her life in Tracyville, NB and the remainder in Alberta.
She was the daughter of the late Glenwood and Joyce Mersereau and is survived by her son Michael Corbu of Edmonton, Alberta. She is also survived by four brothers – Allan, Gene (Jo-Anne), Bruce and James and four sisters – Frances, Brenda (Blake), Kathy and Nancy (Wes), and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was also predeceased by her sisters Christina and Linda, brother Ronnie and brother-in-law Dwight Phillips.
Even though distance separated Norma from her family, she always remembered her family on their birthdays and special occasions with a friendly phone call.
Visitation will take place at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1:30. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Blake Perrin officiating and internment at Gladstone Cemetery in Fredericton Jct.
