It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norman John Francis Moore of Moncton, NB announce his passing at White Rapids Manor in Fredericton Junction, NB on July 20, 2023. Norman was born in Ottawa, ON on December 10, 1939, to the late Katherine (Dooley) and Harrison Moore.

Norman is survived by his daughter Tracy Lynds (Dave Aldred) and three grandchildren: Alex, Dylan and Alyssa.

He spent 9 years in the Navy and was stationed in Washington, DC for 2 years of that time.  He loved his job spying on the Russians by capturing their messages and interpreting them.  He worked as a civilian at CFB Moncton after an honorable discharge from the Navy.  He liked a drink and a good game of cribbage.  If he met you and liked you, he would certainly give you a nickname (a nice one!).

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his common law wife Jacki Little. 

Respecting Norman’s wishes, there will be no visitations or service at this time.
