Pelletier, Joseph Omer of Fredericton Junction, NB passed away at the White Rapids Manor on August 27, 2014 at the age of 87. Omer was born on October 1, 1926 in St. Honoré, Quebec to Elianne (Levesque) and Ovilla Pelletier.
In his earlier years,Omer worked as a farmer and woodsman. He was a nature enthusiast, he spent many of his retirement years enjoying his woodlot, where he was a tree conservationist. He dearly loved his family and shared many interests with them.
July 10,1948 (66years) Omer married the love of his life,Rolande (LeClerc) Pelletier, He was the proud father to 11 children: Lise, Nicole, Marcelle, France, Lyne, Denise, Diane, Sylvie, Suzy, Chantal and Yves, grandfather to 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Brother to Rita, Jeanine, Rina.
Besides his parents he was predeceased to daughter Monique, son Gilles, grandson Éric Couturier and brother Réginald.
By Omer and Rolande’s request, there will be no visitations or funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
