Patricia True Obituary

Patricia Lorraine True

The family of Patricia Lorraine True aka Peggy Lorraine Mullins are deeply saddened to share the news of her passing. Patricia was born December 11, 1942, the daughter of Madora and Cecil Mullins and was one of 10 children. She was a mom, a grand mom, a great grand mom and so much more.

Even though she struggled life long with mental health, that was not the entirety of her! And there is one thing you could not dispute, she truly loved her family. She was extremely thoughtful, always picking up little things that she knew someone would love, and never forgot to send a card for all occasions, she was a perfectionist to a fault, and had a sense of humour that never failed to make u laugh. She volunteered at many different places, and was a caregiver to the elderly in her younger years.

She loved travelling and had quite the collection of hotel towels lol. Loved candy and dark chocolate, and the Color red, which you could find in every corner of her home and wardrobe. She never had a cup of coffee or tea in her life so hot chocolate was her thing, and if it wasn’t Sussex ginger ale then it was nothing! Her homemade bread was the best and she loved trying her hand at interesting things like making homemade ice cream, painting and making jewelry. Lobster was another of her favourites along with all the finer things in life. She was a classy woman who took great care of her appearance though she had a natural beauty that never required makeup.

Mom loved her photos…she took classes in photography though it was more than just a hobby to her, it was a passion. We, her children could be heard to whine and complain “not another picture mom…” Lol. But we thank her now, for all the memories we get to look back on.

She was a lover of antiques which she collected profusely. She loved little fluffy white dogs, Chanel No. 5, pearls, lipstick, Black Magic chocolates, shopping, and diamonds….and when asked, she said she wanted to come back as a swan because of its beauty and elegance…

Mom did things her way, right to the very end, and we were blessed to be able to be there, holding her hand as we said our goodbyes….sleep well mom, you are loved….

She is survived by her daughters Katherine (Edwin) Donna-Marie (Paul) Beverly (Tom) Joey (Cristine) her sisters Beverly, Diane, Kathy, Rhonda, and brother Ronnie as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren

She is predeceased by her mom and dad, her son Billy, sisters Joan and Dorothy, and brothers Bob and Donnie.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date and any donations may be made to the Mental Health Society.
