It is with heavy heart that the family of Pauline Mott (Dobbelsteyn) of Fredericton Junction, NB, announce her peaceful passing at home with loved ones on September 30, 2025. Pauline was born on June 13, 1941, in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of the late Mary (Cook) and Ernest Dobbelsteyn. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by sister Anne Marie Barton, brothers Ernie, Gerald and Francis Dobbelsteyn as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews.
Pauline is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Robert (Bob) Mott.
As well as her brother, Joseph and wife Mary Dobbesteyn along with sisters in law June and Judy Dobbelsteyn.
Pauline will be dearly missed by her three children, Angela, Mark and Kent Thibault. Granddaughters Jesseca Dunphy (Carter) and great grandson Carsen Dunphy, Krista Thibault and great grandsons Bentley Crain & Hazen Hunter and Heidi Boulter (Steve) and great grandson Dre Atwin.
Paulines’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love’s of her life.
Pauline retired from the Provincial Government of NB. She was a Life Member of the Gladstone Curling Club.
A member of the St Columba Church, Pauline was a faithful Women of God. She found an abundance of joy in the power of prayer.
She was compassionate, kind, generous and a woman of unwavering faith and trust in God. Her life was a living example of her faith, reflected by her tireless devotion to her family and church community. Pauline had the voice of an angel which was reflected in the Church Choir.
Family and friends are invited for Visitations at Sunbury Funeral Home on Sunday October 5, 2025, from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 6, 2025, at 11am at the St. Columba Catholic Church with Father Peter Osborne officiating. Following the service interment in St. Columba Catholic Cemetery.
