Tracy, Pauline Dawn (Hayward) – With great sadness, the family of Pauline Tracy of Tracy, NB, announce her peaceful passing at home on November 30, 2020. Born in Saint John, NB on January 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Betty Hayward (Phillips) and Murray Hayward and, wife of the late Warren Tracy.
Pauline was a loving wife and mother who treasured her family and friends. She was also known and respected for her strength and determination. Along the way she held a variety of positions working as Bank Teller, Post Mistress, and retiring as Nurses Aid with White Rapids Manor. Pauline was a person of strong faith who supported her church and her community in many meaningful ways. She served several years as Church Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, and Women’s Missionary Society Leader. In the community she served as First Responder with the Ambulance Service, and was past Board Member of White Rapids Manor and Hospital Aid. She had a big heart for those less fortunate supporting local charities and making and delivering Dinners at Christmas throughout the community.
Pauline is survived by two sons; Randy (Sherry) Tracy, Fredericton and Adrian (Lorraine) Tracy, Dartmouth, NS, daughter Janice Robertson (Blake) PA USA, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters-in-law; Carole Saunderson, Joey O’Conner, Nan Tracy, Ann Hayward, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her husband Warren, Pauline is pre-deceased by her brother Norman Hayward.
We regret that due to Covid-19 restrictions, a grave side funeral service will be by invitation only. Interment is in the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery. Should you wish, donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
