Phillip Esmond Cavanaugh
The family of Phillip Cavanaugh sadly wish to announce his passing on June 24, 2026. Phillip was born July 9, 1952 in St. Stephen, NB to the late Yvonne (Robichaud) and Cyril Cavanaugh. He was a faithful husband to Gail (Murdoch) Cavanaugh for 50 years.
Along with Gail, Phillip will be dearly missed by his daughter Amanda (Jeffrey) Easton, son Joseph (Heather) Cavanaugh, sisters; Lorene (Peter) Crilly, Pearl (Ron) MacGregor, Margaret (Norm) Bario, Whista (Rena) Cavanaugh and Mary Ann Suttie, brothers; Richard Cavanaugh, Robert (Patricia) and Sherman (Mary Rose) Cavanaugh, three grandchildren; Brooklyn, Summer and Savanagh, along with several nieces, nephews friends and neighbors. Also their dog Teddy and cat Baby.
Phillip was a son, husband, father and grandfather. He was a family man. Phillip truly enjoyed helping others working as a rehabilitation Assistant in the Hospital for over 27 years.
Including Phillip’s parents, he is also predeceased by his sister Diane Lutes, his two brothers James and Eugene Cavanaugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations made in Phillip’s name to the Stan Cassidy Rehabilitation Center.
Visitations and a Memorial Service will take place in the Fall. The Obituary will be updated with the information at a later date.
