It is with heavy hearts the family wishes to announce that Phyllis Glen Griffin (Biggar) of Geary, NB passed away on March 15, 2021 peacefully at home. Phyllis was born in Portage, PEI, on October 28, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Margaret (Oliver) and Harry Biggar.  Phyllis was the loving wife to Vance Griffin for over 63 years.

She was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother, her family was her priority.  Phyllis was a faithful member of her church, where she taught Sunday school for many years.  Phyllis loved to play cards but didn`t especially like to lose.  In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and was eager to go anywhere. 

Along with her husband,  Phyllis is survived by three daughters;  Dawn Griffin, Kimberly Hoyt (Phillip) and Tammy Griffin (Pat), three sons; Blain (Susan), Clarence (Ellen) and Kevin (Donna), two sisters; Lillas Hachey (John) and Erma Phillips, fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and also many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by a sister Lorella Daigle and a brother Clarence Biggar.

Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville NB on Thursday March 18, 2021 from 3-6 pm. Funeral service will be Friday March 19, 2021 at the French Lake Baptist Church.  Because of the limitations on gatherings, the funeral is by invitation only.

Interment will be at the Blissville Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, donations to the French Lake Baptist Church or donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
