Boudreau, Raymond Thomas. It is with great sadness that the family of Ray Boudreau announce his passing at Fredericton Hospice House on March 11, 2020.
Ray was born in Halifax, NS on July 8, 1941 to the late Margarite (Belliveau) and Alphie Thomas Boudreau. He was a very caring person who raised four sons and then moved back to Halifax to care for his brother Hubert and his elderly parents. Ray was actively involved in the community and amateur sports, both as a teacher in NS and as Assistant Director of Recreation and Parks in Riverview NB. Ray was well known and respected for his leadership in the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and as President of the Navy League. He was also a member of the Oromocto Legion.
Ray is survived by his sons; Thomas (Wanda), David (Sandy), Roger (Mary) and Michael (Nancy), by his sister Pauline (Gerry), and by his three brothers; Robert, Leo, Hubert, by nine grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ray is predeceased by his brother Henri.
There will be no public visitation or funeral in accordance with Ray’s wishes. A Legion Service and Memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in the Professional Care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (506-368-2413). Condolences: sunburyfuneralhome.com
