Richard Nason Obituary

Nason, Richard Benjamin Nason of Tracy, NB, passed away on May 14, 2020. Richard was born in Tracy on December 27, 1936 to the late Ruth (Nason) and Frank Nason.  He was the loving husband of Joy (Eastwood) Nason .

Richard was a caring husband, father and truly enjoyed his grandchildren.  He started out driving a truck, working in the woods, then owned Nason`s Service Station in Tracy.  As a couple, they loved to travel and went on many bus tours and trips across Canada. He liked to keep busy by cutting wood, gardening and doing puzzles.

Richard is survived by his wife Joy of 63 years, his daughter Debby Duplisea (Bob Knorr) of Tracy, his son Tony (Holly) Nason of Fredericton Junction, three sisters; Shirley Mclaughlin, Leona Carr, Doreen Nason, three brothers; Cecil (Judy) Nason, Edison Nason and Otis (Bernice) Nason, five grandchildren Laura, Kory, Derek, Jory, Kaylee, eight great grandchildren; Chris, Eve, Brooklynn, Kenny, Olivia, Hunter, Lucy, Benjamin, foster daughter Darlene Arseneault, daughter in law Donna Muzzerall and several nieces and nephews.

He is pre-deceased by a son Everett Nason, a grandchild Jake Nason, son in law Brian Duplisea, three sisters; Lois Mclaughlin, Ada Van Ness, May Harris, and two brothers; Irvine, and Dean Nason.     

Due to the recent Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitations or funeral at this time. You may express your sympathy by making a donation directly to Tracy United Baptist Church, Tri-County Complex or a charity of your choice.
