Robert (Bobby) Day

Robert Day, It is with great sadness that the family of Robert (Bobby) Day of Maugerville NB announce his passing at Hospice House in Fredericton NB on August 14, 2023.  Bobby was born in Fredericton, NB to the late Greta (McMonagle) and Arthur Day.  He is survived by the love of his life Peggy Paul-Savoie.

Along with his beloved Peggy, he is survived by his two daughters Kim (Stacy) and Jeanette (Pat), a son David (Michelle), four grandchildren; Dryden, Creed, Sasha and Quinn, one great-grandchild Damon, his sister Betty Spencer and a sister-in-law Sandra Day, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a kindhearted man who loved his family and friends.  He worked as a Heavy Equipment operator throughout his life.  In his free time, he loved to go four wheeling and fishing.  He enjoyed playing Bingo  loving the game and socialization.  Bobby’s family will tell you that he was a great storyteller and could make any story comical.

Besides Bobby’s parents, he is also predeceased by his sister Ruth (Frank) Ingraham, both brother’s Raymond and Lenny (Norma) Day and a brother- in-law Willard Spencer.

The family would appreciate any donations in Bobby’s name to the Canadian Cancer Association.

Following Bobby’s wishes, there will be no visitations or service.
