Welcome to the memorial page for

Royce McLeod

March 7, 1939 ~ December 13, 2015 (age 76) 76 Years Old

McLeod, Kenneth Royce (Buck) – With great sadness the family announce his passing on  December 13,       2015. Buck passed peacefully at home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Wirral NB on March 7, 1939, he was the loving husband to Shirley McLeod (Slauenwhite), and son of the late Ken and Grace McLeod.

Buck spent most of his working life as a transport driver.  He drove 18 years for CNR & later he purchased his own truck & drove for Midland and RST.  After nearly 30 years of being on the road he finished up his career working for the Provincial Government in the Dept. Of  Supply and Services delivering mail in Fredericton to Government offices.

Buck was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt & fish.  He had a great set of hands and could build anything.  He loved sports, playing hockey, softball & golf in his younger years and was a diehard Red Sox, Maple Leaf & Patriots fan.  His biggest passion however was music and he started playing guitar in his teens.  He was a member of the bluegrass fraternity and was at his best on stage picking his guitar while his wife Shirley sang!  Bucky could pick the 6 string with the best of them!

In addition to his wife Shirley, Buck is survived by his two sisters, Lynda (Murray) Gimby, Susan (Robert) Eveleigh, children; Mark (Debbie) McLeod, Tammy (Tim) Forrest, Catherine (Kerry) Carr and Danny (Johanna) McLeod, 3 step children; Stephanie (Sheldon) Gilmer, Cindy Beck and Sharon (Terry) Levy.  Grandchildren; Bradley, Mitchell, Hannah, Maggie, Kate, Jacob and Nolan.  Step grandchildren; Allison, Kimia, Andrew, Phillip, Theresa and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Buck was predeceased by his infant son James and infant grandson Kyle.

Special thanks go out to the IV-Day Team at St.Joes & the Regional Hospital as well as the Oncology Unit at the Regional.
