Sandra Elizabeth LeGassie. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra (Tan) LeGassie.  Sandra passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025 at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction, NB.

Born in Fredericton Junction on January 5,1942 Sandra was the daughter of the late Stuart and Helene (Nason) Phillips, who provided a wonderful childhood for her growing up in the village of Tracy NB.

Once married to her husband Reginald she settled in the town of Oromocto, NB where they raised their two children and became proud members of the community.  For 25 years Sandra enjoyed a fulfilling career with Canex CFB Gagetown before retiring in 2002.  She often spoke fondly of her time at Canex and the many cherished friendships that she developed there.  Sandra was also involved with various groups and organizations including the Oromocto Firefighter Ladies Auxiliary where she continued to develop wonderful memories and friendships.

Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her son Jamie (Louise), daughter Patty (Norm), grandsons Jonathan (Anna) and Joshua (Samantha) and great grandchildren Isabella, Jack and Wesley.  Sandra also had a very special relationship with her nieces Rhonda and Francine who she cherished dearly.

Sandra is predeceased by her loving husband Reginald, parents Stuart and Helene, brothers Ewart (Inez) and Maxwell (Eileen), nephew Lonnie and great grandson Bentley.

Heartfelt appreciation to the staff at White Rapids Manor and Dr. Khaleduzzman for their compassion and care.
