MUZZERALL, Marie Jeanne Therese (Doiron) Muzzerall of Charlottetown, PEI, age 90, passed away on May 12, 2015 at Whisperwood Villa in Charlottetown, her home for the last 7 years. Known as Theresa or Terry to friends, she was born in Rogersville, NB, on January 30, 1925 to the late Dominique and Florine (Richard) Doiron. She is survived by five sons: Alan, Michael, James, Keith and David, one daughter Robin and one sister, Shirley. Her passing has left a void in the lives of her fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil, her daughter Lorna, her sister Julia, brother Emery and daughter-in-law Debbie.
Theresa served as a stenographer in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, and raised a family of seven children afterward, living in Dartmouth, NS, Clarendon, NB, Halifax, NS and Charlottetown, PE. She was a grandmother, babysitter, guardian and chauffeur to several grandchildren after getting her driver’s licence at the age of 60. She was a proud member of the Somme Branch, Royal Canadian Legion for 28 years, serving as the Secretary for a time. She was a mother, homemaker, homework tutor, bowler, gardener, farmer, egg grader, soup kitchen volunteer, and business school graduate. She liked to sing to her young children, with her grown children, and with her Whisperwood Villa family.
