Russell, Therese Christine (Crowley)– With great sadness, the family of Therese Christine Russell (Crowley) of White Rapids Manor, announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 10, 2018. Born in Cork Station, NB on January 27, 1930 to the late Catherine Crowley (Donovan) and Edward Crowley. She was the loving wife of Dolphus Russell.
Therese loved to be active; she was an avid curler for many years and also a bowler. She continued bowling once a week while in the Manor. She was a member of the CWL.
Therese is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years Dolphus Russell, four sons; Charlie (Kathleen), Wayne (Jean), Ricky (Lori), Larry, one sister Alma McDade (Bud), her daughter in law Janet, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Therese is also predeceased by her son Doug, three brothers; Edward, Clarence, Clement, two sisters; Mildred Connors and Vera Tatlock.
Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville NB on Sunday May 13, 2018 for visitations between 2-5pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Catholic Church on Monday May 14, 2018 at 9:30am with Father Martin Aputham officiating. Interment will be in St. Columba Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri-County Complex, St. Columba Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice.
