Troy McLaughlin

Cynthia Phillips, Donald McLaughlin and step parents Robert Dick and Kattie Kane wish to announce the unexpected and tragic passing of their son Troy McLaughlin on April 10, 2021.  Troy was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 18, 1976.  He was the husband of Holly Whittaker.

Along with Holly and his parents, Troy is survived by his two sons; Steven Jakob McLaughlin and Connor James McLaughlin, a daughter Selena Hanselpacker, a sister Lisa Ann Phillips (Chris), grandmother Shirley McLaughlin, his parent in-laws Patricia & John Whittaker, sister in-law Katelyn Lauzon (Travis) and brother in- law Daniel Whittaker, special friends and family Garnet Sinclair and family, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews spread across Canada.

Troy was a mechanic and worked as a heavy equipment operator.   

Troy was predeceased by his grandparents Virginia and Mike Pospolita and Edgar McLaughlin.

A Memorial Service will be held, but because of the limitations on gatherings, the funeral is by invitation only. Interment will follow at the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the IWK would be appreciated by the family.
