Vernon Arthur Nason

Nason, Vernon Arthur Nason of Fredericton Junction, NB, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 17, 2013. Vernon was born in Fredericton Junction on February 17, 1933 to the late Clara A (Hartt) Nason and Victor Charles Nason.

Vernon retired as a Linesman after 35 years of service with NB Power. He loved to hunt, do puzzles, and tinker in his workshop.

Vernon is survived by his wife Irma (Aubin) Nason of 30 years, his step son Robert Connolly (Brenda).  His two sisters: Glenna Bell of Fredericton, Carol King Fredericton Junction, two brothers: Ross Nason (Ida) of Central Blissville and Bert Nason (Jacquie) of Fredericton.  He is also survived by his two grandchildren Jennifer and Ryan, and one great-grandchild Johnathan, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.  Besides his parents, Vernon was predeceased by one sister, Miriam Dares and one brother Walter Nason.

Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay their respects to the family on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be at Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB on Monday October 21 at 2 pm with Rev. James Harrison officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gladstone Cemetery.   You may express your sympathy by making a donation to a charity of your choice.
