Violet Mae Phillips of Tracy, NB, passed away on February 17, 2021. Violet was born in Saint John, NB on August 29, 1943 to the late Eugenia (Walters) and Lewis Golden. Violet was the wife of the late Larry (Sherm) Phillips.
Violet is survived by her two children; Kathy Phillips and John Phillips of Tracy, two brothers; Albert and David Golden, sister in law Marg Golding, brothers in law David Bell and Rex Phillips (Shelby) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Violet was a lovely lady that spent much of her time at the Tracy United Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school, and Pioneer Club. She was also a member of Club 65.
Along with her parents and her husband, Violet is also predeceased by her sister Delores Bell, and sisters in law Ellen Golden and Janet Golden.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday February 20, 2021 from 2-5 pm. Because of the limitations on gatherings, the funeral is by invitation only. Interment will take place in the spring. For those who wish, donations to the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery fund would be appreciated by the family.
