It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wayne Graham of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB announce his peaceful passing at Bobby’s Hospice in Saint John, NB on April 17, 2023.  Wayne was born in Saint John, NB on May 1, 1952, to the late Darlene (Mersereau) and Grant Graham.  He was the loving husband of Paula Graham for over 49 years.

Along with his wife Paula, Wayne is survived by his son Grant Graham (Leisha) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB daughter Kim (David) Daye of Browns Flat, NB, grandchildren; Jonathan (Erin) Vautour, Emily (Andrew) Graham and Morgan (Ryan) Graham, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wayne worked as both a local and long haul truck driver for over 45 years. 

He loved the outdoors, spending time at home barbecuing, having bonfires and doing yard work with Paula. Wayne loved spending time at the Easton Camp for the annual hunting trips in the fall with his son and grandson. Lots of laughs were enjoyed with the Easton family. Wayne always looked forward to visits from his grandchildren who he was so very proud of.

Besides his parents, Wayne is predeceased by his sister Brenda.

The family would like to thank the staff of Saint John Extra Mural, Palliative Care Unit of SJRH, and the entire staff of Bobby’s Hospice. A special thank you goes out to Dr Chris O’Brien, Dr Christian Mackin, and RT Heidi of Extra Mural for your compassionate care.

The family would appreciate any donations made in Wayne’s name to Bobby’s Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville, NB for Visitations on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 3-7pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Patterson United Church on Friday April 21, 2023 at 1pm with father Ken Weir officiating.
