William Samuel McCracken

McCracken, William (Bill) – With great sadness, we announce the passing of  Bill McCracken, at the Oromocto Public Hospital on March 2, 2015. Bill was born in Fredericton Junction, NB on January 4, 1952 to the late Glenna Stairs and Lawrence McCracken.

Bill was an auto body mechanic by trade and retired from working at Marwood Industries.  Bill loved to hunt, fish and visit the family camp on the Diamond Square.  Bill loved to watch most sports on TV but his favorite was hockey, where he faithfully cheered on the Toronto Maple Leafs.  

Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen (Tracy) McCracken,  two brothers; John (Alice) McCracken of Moncton, and Ronald  (Joan) McCracken of Saint John.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother Phillip McCracken.

Visitations will take place at St. Marks Anglican Church in Tracy, on Thursday March 5, 2015 from 6-8pm.  Funeral service will also be at St. Marks Anglican Church on Friday March 6, 2015 at 11am with Bishop George Lemmon officiating. Interment will be in St. Marks Anglican Cemetery at a later date. If you wish, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, or a charity of donor’s choice.
