It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) Willar of Fredericton Junction, NB announce his sudden passing on June 15, 2025.  Bill was born in Whitehorse, Yukon on February 25, 1959 to Margaret (Porter) and the late Donald H. Willar.  Bill was the loving husband of Valerie Willar.

Bill will be dearly missed by his wife Valerie (Nason), his mother Margaret Willar, two sisters; Margaret (John) Hardie and Tara (Kevin) Estabrooks, his brother Robert (Brenda), mother in-law Faye Nason, brother-in-law Larry Nason and several nieces and nephews.

Bill worked at Maple Leaf Homes for over 20 years, working his way up to a supervisory position.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and camping.  He looked forward to the yearly trips him and Val took to Grand Manan.  Bill had fond memories of Salmon fishing with his family in his younger years.

Along with Bill’s father Donald H. Willar, he is also predeceased by a brother Donnie A. Willar.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life in Bill’s honor on June 26th, 2025 from 1:30-3:30pm at The Victoria Hall in New Maryland, NB .
