It's with great sadness that we heard of Gene's passing.
Gene was a close friend, and we had many musical evenings together, along with Ernie Tapp and many others from in and around our community.
Gene's passing is a great lose to our community and his family. And will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

There are no words to fully express the sorrow I feel for you, Charlene and for your family. It's hard to imagine a world without Gene, his music, his stories, and his laughter. He touched so many people with his kindness and generosity; always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, whether it was a trip to town or a full scale benefit project. He was a wonderful person here on earth and Heaven gained a very special Angel with his passing. Rest in peace my dear friend...I will miss you. xo
