Joanne Pauline (Phillips) Smith, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on May 14, 2016. Born, May 27th 1932, Niagara Falls, Ontario to the late Seymour Phillips and Helen Lyons.

With her brother and parents, she grew up in Geary NB on the homestead of her grandparents Purdy and Rita (Carr) Phillips.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sister; Rita, brother; Robert, son-in law David Shears, Leo Smith and a good friend; Fred McLaughlin

Survived by her Children; Heather Williams (Rick), Mike Youritchuk (Kim), LeeAnn Shears, Lou Ann Smith and Rose Ann Smith (Tim).

Grandchildren; Shannon Chappelle, Melanie Forret, Mike Williams, Michelle Moore Byrne, Raymond Youritchuk, Jennifer Youritchuk, Kaley Shears, Ryan Shears, Laura Smith, Richard Smith, Kevin Smith, Robyn Smith. 14 Great grandchildren, chosen sister;  Mable Robichaud, Nephews; Dana, Roger and Michael Phillips and Sister In Law; Pat Phillips.

Respecting Moms wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.   A  Celebration of Joanne’s life is being organized and will be posted with Sunbury Funeral Home website at a later date.
