I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and grandmother. Mrs Gillett taught me in grade 3. I have to tell you that as a grade 3er, going to school that first day and meeting her scarred me half to death. As the year went on I got to know and love her as a teacher. Now, all these years later, I realize that some teachers in your life really do make a difference. Your mom and grandma did just that. God Bless

Sorry to hear the passing of your Mom she was a great lady and will be missed by all. Cheerish those special memories that you have of her I know I will. She wouldn't want you to do any different. She will be at rest with your Dad and now they can be together. Thinking of you all in the days a head.

I was so very sad to read in this morning's Gleaner of your mother's passing. I know that there are many people in the Hoyt and Wirral area who better folks for their having been Martha's students. There are fewer teachers every year who exemplify the hard worker that Martha was. Please accept my very deepest sympathy.
